1. Publisher

AgriConnect Burundi is published by NCDPConnect, Toronto, Canada. Contact: ncdpconnect@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

• Identity: full name and role (farmer, buyer, cooperative, courier, institution).
• Contact: phone number, used for sign-in and one-time code verification.
• Declared location: province, commune, hill (colline).
• Published content: product listings, photos, prices, quantities, farms and crop cycles.
• Transactions: orders, offers, deliveries and registered vehicles.
• Payments: mobile money (Lumicash) payment references you enter for manual verification. We never collect PIN codes or banking credentials.
• Minimal technical data required to operate and secure the service.

3. Purposes

• Create and secure your account (phone verification code).
• Publish your listings and connect you with buyers, sellers and couriers.
• Manage orders, deliveries and their tracking.
• Manually verify featured-listing and subscription payments.
• Improve the service and prevent abuse and fraud.

4. Data sharing

Information you publish (display name, province, listings) is visible to other users so trade can happen. Your phone number is only shared with parties involved in an ongoing transaction. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

5. Storage and security

Data is hosted on managed infrastructure (Supabase) with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and row-level security, so each user only accesses their own records. Verification codes are temporary and expire automatically.

6. Retention

Data is kept while your account is active, then deleted or anonymised on request, unless the law requires longer retention.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, export or request full deletion of your account by writing to ncdpconnect@gmail.com. We respond within a reasonable delay (30 days maximum).

8. Children

The app is not intended for people under 16.

This policy may be updated; the last update date appears at the top of this page.
